Didsbury · M20
From Victorian semis off Wilmslow Road to post-war homes in East Didsbury, we design drives that sit right with the house and drain properly.
M20 · Didsbury, West & East Didsbury
A lot of Didsbury homes are Victorian and Edwardian semis and terraces with bay windows, low brick walls and tight front gardens. A smooth resin-bound surface with a block or setts border usually looks right against that brickwork, and it gives you off-street parking without a sea of grey.
Resin-bound and permeable block paving both let rainwater soak through, which matters in England: paving more than five square metres of front garden with a surface that doesn't drain normally needs planning permission. Parts of Didsbury are also in conservation areas, so we'll talk through materials and boundary walls before anything is lifted.
Already have a drive? We repair sunken blocks, re-sand joints, jet wash and re-seal block paving and patios across M20.

“Our garden has been transformed from a mixture of broken flags and grass — it now has new tiles and new turf. This is the second time we've used Terry and his team and would highly recommend them.”
“Installed a new driveway — we are very happy with the service. Good set of lads, 10 out of 10.”
“Terence was easy to contact, quick to respond and provided a reasonable quote. They arrived when they said they would and got the job done well and quickly. Recommend!”
If the new surface is permeable, or water runs off into a lawn or border on your own property, most front drives don't need planning permission. A non-permeable surface over five square metres usually does, and conservation-area homes can have extra rules. A new dropped kerb needs Manchester City Council's approval. We'll check this with you at the survey.
Yes. Resin-bound surfacing can be laid right up to steps, bay walls and gate posts, with no loose stones to carry indoors, so it works well on small, awkward frontages.
Yes. West Didsbury, Didsbury Village, East Didsbury and the roads towards Withington, Burnage and Northenden are all on our patch.
