Resin
Choosing colours and aggregates for a resin driveway

Resin driveways are made from real stone, so the colour you see is the colour of the aggregate. With so many blends available, choosing can feel tricky. Here's how we help customers narrow it down.
Start with the house
Look at your brickwork, roof tiles, window frames and front door. Red-brick terraces and semis — very common across Stockport and Manchester — often suit warm golds, buffs and browns. Rendered or modern homes often look sharp with greys and silvers.
Warm, cool or mixed?
- Warm blends (golds, honeys, bronzes) feel welcoming and hide dust well.
- Cool blends (silvers, greys, charcoals) look crisp and contemporary.
- Mixed blends combine tones and are good at disguising tyre marks and everyday dirt.
Stone size
Finer aggregates give a smoother, tighter finish, often used for paths and patios. Slightly larger stones give more texture and are a common choice for driveways. We'll recommend a suitable size for the area and how you use it.
Borders and edging
A block-paved or contrasting border frames a resin drive beautifully and gives a neat edge against lawns and walls. It's one of the most popular finishes we lay.
