Which areas do you cover?
We're a family-run business based in Stockport and cover every Stockport postcode from SK1 to SK8, plus Greater Manchester including Tameside, Trafford, Salford, Oldham and north Manchester. If your area isn't listed, just ask.
Do I need planning permission for a front driveway?
In England you don't normally need planning permission for a new or replacement front driveway if it uses a permeable surface, such as resin-bound or permeable block paving, or if rainwater drains to a lawn or border. Covering more than 5 square metres with a non-permeable surface that drains onto the road usually does need permission. We'll advise on drainage during your free survey.
How long does installation take?
It depends on the size of the job and the groundwork needed, and we'll give you a timescale with your quote. As an example, one recent Checkatrade customer's two-car driveway, steps and path were completed in two days.
